Overview: Learning to ski is a different experience for many, and as an instructor, one will quickly learn that teaching beginners can vary just as widely. Working in this area requires employees to adjust quickly, think on their feet and oftentimes, breathe deep and remember to have fun.

There are no constants across students, and a strategy that works well in one lesson may get you nowhere in another, so it is essential to experiment with new tactics and techniques depending on the preparedness of the pupil.

Working at Ski Big Bear provides one with the opportunity to learn cutting-edge teaching strategies from PSIA and AASI certified instructors, so that teachers can always feel plenty prepared with the tools in their toolbox when entering a lesson.
